A board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon, Atul S. Rao, MD, FACS, is highly experienced in the performance of advanced procedures for a full range of vascular conditions, offering minimally-invasive endovascular interventions and complex open surgeries often found at academic medical centers.

Dr. Rao is board-certified in general and vascular surgery. Prior to joining Doylestown Health, he was a faculty member and attending vascular surgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He then joined Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he was co-director of the Aortic Center and assistant program director of the Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship Training Program, and was recognized with accolades including Maimonides Medical Center Young Attending of the Year in 2013, Super Doctors, NYC Metro Rising Star in 2014 and 2015, Castle Connolly Top Docs 2017-2024 and Philadelphia Magazine Top Docs, 2018-2022.
